*I’m posting this, fully aware that just because a girl puts on glasses or wears a costume doesn’t actually mean she’s a nerd.
I’m never really all that inter ested, but I find myself telling her how beau ti ful she is any way. ‘Cause it’s true, all women are, in one way or another. You know, there’s always some thing about every damn one of you, it’s a smile, a curve, a secret. You ladies really are the most amaz ing crea tures, my life’s work. But then there’s the morn ing after, a hang over, and the real iza tion that I’m not quite as avail able as I thought I was the night before. And then she’s gone, and I’m haunted by yet another road not taken.
